Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro High Reverse Shattered Backboard
The new Jordan sneakers: Reverse Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 Retro, also known as the Shattered Backboard 2.0, is a new take on the classic Jordan shoe that follows up on the first release. The colorway's legend stems from Michael Jordan shattering the backboard with one of his iconic slam dunks during a Nike exhibition tour in 1985. Jordan was on both teams during the game, so the Reverse Shattered Backboard Jordan 1 colorway is only natural. The backboard-breaking dunk, however, came on the side wearing black and orange jerseys.
The second team wore white jerseys, which connects this colorway to MJ's now-famous Italy stop. The Jordan 1 Retro "Reverse Shattered Backboard" official colorway is Sail/Starfish-Black, which is the inverse of the Black/Starfish-Sail release from June of 2015. The shattered backboard Jordan moment is sure to live on for decades to come, with both colorways commemorating the iconic moment from Jordan's rookie year, which is also YouTube famous in its own right.
